How do I turn on SnapFlash®?

Short press the power button to turn on the device. The indicator lights will illuminate to display the current status.

Is SnapFlash® ready to use out of the box?

Before first use, remove the protective battery tab and fully charge SnapFlash®.

How long does the battery last?

Battery life depends on brightness settings, recording use, and operating conditions. Under normal use, SnapFlash® provides up to 8 hours of operation.

How do I fully charge SnapFlash®?

Connect the included USB-C cable to a standard 5V USB power source. The indicator lights will display the charging status.

Can I use SnapFlash® immediately after charging?

Yes. Once fully charged, SnapFlash® is ready for use.

Does SnapFlash® include a user manual?

Yes. A printed Quick Start Guide may be included, and the latest user manual is available through the SnapFlash® Support Center.

What should I do before first use?

  1. Remove the battery tab
  2. Fully charge SnapFlash®
  3. Download the app
  4. Connect SnapFlash® to your phone

How do I connect SnapFlash® to my phone?

  1. Download the SnapFlash® app
  2. Turn on SnapFlash®
  3. Open the app
  4. Tap the Wi-Fi icon
  5. Connect to the SnapFlash® network

Does SnapFlash® require internet access?

No. SnapFlash® creates a direct Wi-Fi connection between the device and your smartphone.

Why won’t SnapFlash® connect to my phone?

Try:

  • Confirm SnapFlash® is powered on
  • Restart the app
  • Reconnect to the SnapFlash®
  • Wi-Fi network
  • Restart your phone
  • Move closer to SnapFlash®

What does blinking blue and green mean?

Blinking blue and green indicates SnapFlash® is ready for pairing.

Why does the app request location permissions?

Some mobile operating systems require location permissions to access Wi-Fi information. SnapFlash® does not use your location for tracking.

Can multiple phones connect to SnapFlash® at the same time?

Only one device can actively control SnapFlash® at a time.

What is Dual User Operation?

Dual User Operation allows one person to hold or position SnapFlash® while another monitors and controls the live camera feed through the app.

What is the default Wi-Fi password?

The network name is ‘SnapFlashHub’ and the password is ‘Snap101Flash’.

Can I use SnapFlash® without the app?

Yes. SnapFlash® can be used as a standalone flashlight, including adjusting brightness levels using the physical buttons. However, camera functions such as live view, photo capture, and video recording require connection to the SnapFlash® app.

Can SnapFlash® reconnect automatically?

Auto reconnect may be available depending on your phone settings and app configuration.

Can SnapFlash® take photos?

Yes. SnapFlash® captures high-resolution photos directly through the app.

Can SnapFlash® record video?

Yes. SnapFlash® supports video recording.

What resolution does SnapFlash® use?

Resolution settings can be adjusted within the SnapFlash® app. SnapFlash® supports different resolutions depending on the capture mode:

  • Photos: Up to 1920 × 1080 (Full HD)
  • Video: Up to 1280 × 720 (HD)

Can I zoom in?

Yes. Digital zoom from 1× to 4× is available.

Where are photos and videos saved?

Photos and videos are stored directly on your connected mobile device.

What charging cable does SnapFlash® use?

SnapFlash® uses USB-C charging.

Can I use a fast charger?

Use a standard 5V USB power source for best performance.

Can I use SnapFlash® while charging?

For best performance and safety, allow charging to complete before extended use.

What do the indicator lights mean?

Indicator lights display charging and Wi-Fi connection status.

How can I maximize battery life?

  • Fully charge before storage
  • Store in cool, dry conditions
  • Disconnect charging once fully charged

Is SnapFlash® waterproof?

SnapFlash® is IP67 rated for dust and water resistance.

What does IP67 mean?

IP67 means protection against dust ingress and temporary water exposure under specified conditions.

Does SnapFlash® have a magnetic base?

Yes. The magnetic base supports hands-free attachment to metal surfaces.

What is the adjustable head used for?

The adjustable head allows the camera and light angle to be repositioned.

Can SnapFlash® be used outdoors?

Yes. SnapFlash® is designed for indoor and outdoor environments.

SnapFlash® won’t turn on. What should I do?

Fully charge the device and try powering it on again.

Why does the flashlight work but the app doesn’t connect?

Exit the app and restart it, then try to again to connect.

Why is the connection unstable?

Connection quality may vary depending on distance, interference, and phone model.

Why does the device feel warm during use?

Slight warming during charging or operation is normal.

Does SnapFlash® include a warranty?

SnapFlash® includes a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects.
